3 lb Lean beef; flank; round -sirloin tip 3/4 c Soy sauce 1/4 c Worcestershire sauce 1/4 c Brown sugar 1 ts Onion powder 1 Clove garlic; minced 1/2 ts Coarse pepper 1/4 ts Liquid smoke Cut beef into strips 1/2 inch thick. Combine marinade ingredients in a large glass baking dish. Add strips of beef, cover and refrigerate overnight. Drain beef slices. Dry in an electric dehydrator at 145 until pliable. Package the beef jerky in home canning jars, food-grade plastic bags or seal-by-heat food storage bags.
