Where are your products made?
Our beef jerky is made right here in California.

Yes, our packaging is recyclable.
Where does your meat come from?
Most of the beef we use is U.S.-sourced. However, we are also importing from Argentina and Uruguay due to the pandemic.
Are your products Kosher or Halal?
No, our products are not Kosher or Halal.
Where can I find nutritional information?
You can find most of the nutrition information on your product packaging. However, you can also find nutritional information on our Nutrition Facts page and individual product pages.
Do your products contain gluten?
There is gluten in wheat, which is present in soy sauce in some of our products. Please check the flavor and particular nutrient label for warnings of soy or wheat.
Do your products contain MSG?
MSG is naturally occurring in soy. If you buy a product with soy flavoring, then there is MSG in the product. Each of our products shows nutritional facts on the individual product pages and physical product labeling.
Do your products contain nitrites?
Our products contain potassium.
Does your packaging list allergens?
Allergens are declared in the ingredient list. For instance, if you buy a product with soy, it will be labeled on the product.
Does your beef jerky need to be refrigerated or frozen?
This product has a shelf life of 12 months. It is best to keep it refrigerated in hot temperatures.

Do I need to adhere to the “best by” date?
For best use, yes.
What is the small white packet in my beef jerky bag?
The small white packet embossed with DO NOT EAT is an oxygen absorber to help with shelf life. For more information, read our blog post on what happens if you eat the packet in beef jerky.
How can I tell if my beef jerky has gone bad?
Please check the use by date. If it is past this date, we recommend you dispose of the jerky. Another way to tell if your beef jerky has gone bad is if mold has started to form on the food due to oxygen and/or packaging punctures.
