BeefJerky.com was founded in 1995 with the goal of selling the best-tasting, freshest jerky in the universe! In fact, astronauts carried our flagship flavor, Final Frontier, to space four times.
That’s right, Final Frontier jerky has been to space and back.
Since then, thousands of jerky lovers have enjoyed our out-of-this-world flavors. This jerky is also easy to eat with no mess. It stays fresh and tasty on even the longest trips (like navigating the infinite expanse of space).
In other words, it’s the perfect, high-protein on-the-go snack, whether you’re hiking, road-tripping or soaring to the International Space Station (ISS).
We’ve found that we have even more to offer since Final Frontier’s last trip to space. Today, we're proud to bring you a collection of brands that are equally delicious and simply better than the rest.
We partner with specialty jerky brands to bring you a wide range of stellar jerky types, products and flavors.
And because we’re certified jerky aficionados, we share just about anything you want to know about it on our blog. Check it out for all your jerky-related questions.
Are you ready for liftoff? Try our diverse, curated flavors today!
Our mission is to provide exceptionally tasty jerky. We'll do whatever we can to ensure you're happy with your order.
That starts with shipping. We do our best to ship orders as soon as we receive them. We try to guarantee your jerky is in your hands (and stomach) ASAP.
And to keep more money in your jerky budget, we offer free shipping over $50 within the U.S. That's right! For orders over $50 within the continental U.S., you have no extra shipping and handling charges or added taxes at the end of the ordering process.
All sales are final. After all, jerky is a food product. If you're unsatisfied with your order for any reason, just reach out with your concerns.
On September 16, 1996, the STS-79 Atlantis launched from the Kennedy Space Center toward Russia’s Mir Space Station. The crew packed the shuttle with 50 one-ounce packages of Final Frontier jerky. The jerky survived the journey with panache, and the crew were delighted to have a little taste of home onboard.
Life at the ISS just wasn’t the same without Final Frontier, so an astronaut put in a special request for it. Luckily, the Progress M1-255 freighter safely delivered the beloved jerky, marking Final Frontier’s second voyage into space.
After South African astronaut Mark Shuttleworth taste-tested Final Frontier jerky, he knew he had to bring it with him to the ISS. But he didn’t have time to officially register the jerky in the flight manifest. His solution? He simply hid it in the pocket of his spacesuit.
Thus, Final Frontier traveled to space a third time via the Soyuz spacecraft.
The Atlantis space shuttle crew didn’t think they could live off Earth without their favorite jerky. So, they requested Final Frontier ahead of time to ensure it was on deck for their return journey to the ISS.
